THE BEGINNING

Where Every Dog Finds Their Pack

Opening August 2026 in Celina, Texas.

For years, two friends, Miles and Tina, kept talking about the same idea. One day, when the time was right, they would open a dog resort, the kind of place they always wished existed, a real home away from home built around the dog.

Tina, a hospitality executive, spent twenty-six years in the hotel industry, building franchise systems and learning, room by room, what it means to make people feel genuinely cared for. She planned to leave hospitality behind. Instead she kept coming back to her own three dogs, and to one question she couldn’t put down: if hospitality could change what people expect from a hotel, what could it do for the way dogs are cared for?

Miles came at it from the other side. A finance executive and CPA who has built new ventures his whole career, he helps lead a firm that invests in veterinary hospitals, so he understands the business of pet care, the numbers, the models, what makes one of these places thrive and what quietly sinks it. He is also a dog person to the core, a former dog dad who lost his own to illness and now gives his time to animal rescue.

Then Mason, Tina’s son, joined them. An Oklahoma State graduate, he never wanted to work behind a desk. He wanted to build something from the ground up. He wanted to learn everything he could, so he spent time working and learning in the dog resort industry.  Mason has loved dogs his whole life, and now he runs Hometown Paws day to day.  He brings an understanding of what this generation of dog owners expects. This is the future he’s building.

It is the balance that makes it work. Tina leans forward, hospitality first, always on the guest experience. Miles holds the line on the numbers and the model. One pushes, the other steadies, and neither lets the other miss. With Mason in the mix, the next generation has a seat at the table too.

Two friends who are family, a mother and son. This is Hometown Paws.

The way we love dogs has changed. The way they are cared for has not. Hometown Paws is our answer.

WHAT WE BUILT

We built the place our own dogs deserve

Over twenty thousand square feet of pet turf. Seven designated play yards. A splash zone for fun in the sun, and nearly four thousand square feet of covered, climate-regulated play with oversized fans and misters for hot afternoons, lights for early mornings and short winter days, and heaters for the cold snaps. Heat, rain, or cold, your dog always has room to run, room to rest, and room to simply be a dog.

But the building is the easy part. What makes Hometown Paws different is what happens inside it. Every dog is greeted with love and known by name. Every dog is placed with intention, grouped by size, temperament, and energy, and cared for by people who are watching, engaging, and genuinely paying attention. We lead with heart, we protect balance, and we build real belonging, for the dogs we welcome and the owners who trust us.

You can’t fake it. The dogs always know. Walk in and you’ll find a friendly face that knows your dog’s name, and yours.

BUILT WITH BELIEF

We’re also grateful for the private investor who backed this vision before the doors ever opened, someone who has known Tina’s work for years and bet on her again. We don’t take that trust lightly. We’re building something worthy of it.
