Our daycare is designed to keep them active, mentally fulfilled, and genuinely cared for — with structured play, purposeful grouping, and enrichment woven throughout. From drop-off to pick-up, they're not just passing time. They're part of the pack.

Twenty thousand square feet of pet turf across six yards gives every dog room to actually move — including a dedicated splash zone and over 4,000 square feet of covered play space for the Texas heat, the rainy days, and everything in between.

RESERVATION DETAILS

All Hometown Paws guests — daycare and boarding — is encouraged to book a reservation in advance. We cannot guarantee an opening for walk-ins during our busier times. Every day here is planned with intention, and that starts before your dog ever walks through the door.

Daycare is available Monday through Friday: 6:30am - 7:00pm

Daycare is not provided on Saturdays or Sundays.

REQUIREMENTS

Pack Preview — $40

Every dog must complete a Pack Preview before enrolling in daycare or purchasing a package. This is our structured evaluation — the moment we get to meet your dog properly and place them with intention from day one.

Pack Previews are scheduled during designated time slots. When you arrive, we take time to welcome both you and your dog before you head out for the day. From there, one of our Pack Leaders conducts a thorough evaluation to see how your dog engages with our environment, our group, and our standard. Dogs who are a great fit stay and enjoy the full day — included in the $40. If our environment turns out not to be the right match, your dog rests comfortably in a private suite until you return. No surprises. No pressure. Just the right fit.

All dogs must be 4 months of age or older for daycare or boarding.

We require at least 48 hours to pass after new vaccinations before a dog's first visit.

Half Day Daycare

$28/day

Not every day calls for a full adventure. Our half day daycare gives your dog just the right amount of fun, connection, and care without the full commitment. A few hours of play while you tackle your day is sometimes just what everyone needs.

Daycare FAQS

What are your vaccination and health requirements?

*Current vaccination records from your veterinarian are required before your dog's first visit*

Required vaccinations: Rabies, DHLP, PARVO, fecal, and Bordetella (kennel cough). The Bordetella vaccine is a preventative measure — not a guarantee.

Kennel cough is a known risk in any shared dog environment, and we believe in being upfront about that.

How are dogs grouped during playtime?

We group everyone by size, temperament, and play style.

We want to insure every dog belongs and enjoys their time here at Hometown Paws .

What does a typical daycare day look like?

From arrival till 11:00am, everyone will be in group play separated by size and temperament to create the best experience.

Then, from 11:00am - 1:30pm, everyone will enjoy a midday meal, if specified, and rest to ensure proper recovery and overall safety.

Finally, from 1:30pm - departure, everyone will return to group play with add-on enrichment sessions available.

Are certain breeds not allowed?

Due to the nature of our group play environment, we are unable to accept Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso, Pit Bull, Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, or any dog of predominant mix of these breeds.

Additional behavioral screening may be required for power and bully breed types at our discretion.
