2. WHAT YOU'RE OPTING INTO

By submitting your phone number and/or email address through our website, intake forms, or in-person signup, you are providing express written consent to receive the following types of communications from Hometown Paws:

SMS Text Messages May Include:

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, and scheduling updates

• Dog report cards and daily care updates

• Monthly newsletters from the pack

• Service announcements and new offerings

• Review requests and community updates

Message frequency: Varies based on your dog's schedule and our community calendar. You can reasonably expect 2-6 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates apply for text messages.

3. HOW TO OPT IN

You may opt in through any of the following channels:

• Checking the opt-in box on our website contact or enrollment form

• Completing the SMS consent field during your dog's Pack Welcome Ritual intake process

• Texting a keyword to our designated business number (if applicable)

• Providing verbal or written consent in person at our facility

You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in. Consent to receive marketing messages is never

required as a condition of purchasing our services.

4. HOW TO OPT OUT

You are in control, always. You can stop receiving messages at any time using any of these

methods:

• Reply STOP to any text message to immediately unsubscribe from SMS

communications

• Reply HELP to any text message for assistance and contact information

• Email us directly at [Insert email] to request removal from all communications

• Call us at [Insert phone number] during business hours

When you opt out, you will receive one final confirmation text acknowledging your request. After

that, no further marketing messages will be sent. You may still receive non-marketing,

transactional messages related to your dog's active care (appointment confirmations, urgent

health updates) unless you specifically request all communication cease.

5. PRIVACY POLICY

Hometown Paws does not sell, share, rent, or trade your phone number or contact information

with any third party for their marketing purposes. Your information is used exclusively to

communicate with you about your dog and our services. Period.

We do not purchase contact lists. Every person in our system has opted in directly.

6. TRANSACTIONAL VS. PROMOTIONAL MESSAGES

Some messages we send are transactional in nature — meaning they relate directly to services

your dog is actively receiving. These include appointment confirmations, pickup and drop-off

reminders, and health-related alerts. These communications may continue even if you opt out of

marketing messages, as they are essential to your dog's care.

If you wish to opt out of ALL communication including transactional messages, please notify us

in writing and we will make the appropriate arrangements.

7. TIMING AND FREQUENCY

In compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), we will never send text

messages before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM in your local time zone. We respect your time the

same way we respect your dog's routine.

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

- We ask that all cancellations be made in advance of your scheduled visit.

- Cancellations made more than 48 hours ahead receive a full refund.

- Cancellations made between 24-48 hours ahead receive a 50% refund.

- Cancellations made under 24 hours receive no refund.

9. HEALTH & SAFETY

- All guests must be in good health and must not have been exposed to any contagious or communicable illness within 30 days prior to their visit. This applies to both daycare and boarding.

- Hometown Paws is unable to accommodate dogs with a terminal illness or those in the advanced stages of illness.

- Dogs requiring specialized medical management — including diabetic or epileptic dogs — need a level of care our team is not equipped to provide. We strongly recommend these dogs be placed under the direct care of a licensed veterinarian.

- All dogs must be 4 months of age or older.

- All dogs must be spayed or neutered. Puppies under 6 months of age are exempt.

- Due to the nature of our group play environment, we are unable to accept Dogo Argentino, Pit Bull, Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, or any dog of predominant mix of these breeds. Additional behavioral screening may be required for power and bully breed types at our discretion.

- Dogs are social animals who play with teeth and paws. Even within our structured, supervised environment, minor nicks and scrapes can occur. In the event of a serious injury, you will be contacted immediately. Minor incidents will be reviewed with you at pick-up.

- Current vaccination records from your veterinarian are required before your dog's first visit.

-Required vaccinations: Rabies, DHLP, PARVO, fecal, and Bordetella (kennel cough). The Bordetella vaccine is a preventative measure — not a guarantee.

- Kennel cough is a known risk in any shared dog environment, and we believe in being upfront about that.

10. MEMBERSHIP & PACKAGES

- We want to be upfront about how your membership days and packages work so there are never any surprises.

Monthly Memberships

- Membership days are allocated at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over to the following month. Unused days expire at the end of the billing period in which they were issued and cannot be credited, carried forward, or refunded. We recommend planning your dog's schedule around your monthly allotment to get the most out of your membership.

Day Packages

- Day packages are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Any unused days remaining after the expiration date will be forfeited. Expiration dates cannot be extended or transferred. We'll do our best to remind you when your package is approaching its expiration — because we'd rather see your dog in here than watch days go to waste.

A Few Things to Know

- All memberships and packages are non-transferable and may only be used for the enrolled pet(s) on your account

- Consent to purchase a membership or package is never required to access our services on a drop-in basis

- Hometown Paws reserves the right to update membership and package terms with reasonable advance notice to active members

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via text or email

and update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of our services after

notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
